It rained right as we finished up this session, but prior to that, it was the perfect day for taking portraits of these fun brothers.

Mr. 3-year-old…isn’t he seriously adorable with his glasses???

His 7-year-old brother is pretty dapper himself….

As a mom to two boys, I am especially fond of brotherly kisses!

My friend Melissa has been an invaluable source of support for me and my family throughout this past year. As I have
faced medical challenges, Melissa has been wonderful at providing help for our family on a weekly basis. We are all
soooo thankful!

Everyone in her family is a big Minnesota Twins fan, so they all showed up to our session wearing matching Twins Jerseys.
Here is a capture of her three sweet boys. You come from a great family, kids!

I was excited to photograph Miss E the other night. The ‘E’ could very well stand for Energy! I had fun trying to keep up as she played, ran and skipped
across the field – sometimes even rolling down the hill, climbing up and doing it all over again. In between we literally stopped to smell the flowers.
Something we should do more often!

Urban Ventures BearPath Golf Tournament | Eden Prairie Event Photographer

I’ve participated in a few Urban Ventures photography shoots (see here and here) during this past winter. When the opportunity arose to join a team of photographers documenting their annual golf tournament with proceeds benefiting the Urban Stars Athletic Club, I was definitely game (though I know
nothing of golf, I can ride in a golf cart with the best of them!). It was beautiful weather, and I had a blast as usual working with Urban Ventures.

I recently took a few classes with Steve Silverman of Steve Silverman Imaging – a studio lighting workshop and a class in photographing people outdoors.
Not only was it a great opportunity to learn new techniques, but it was also fun to work with models. They definitely know how to work it for the camera!
